Treatment Philosophy::
I believe therapy is an opportunity to deepen our understanding of ourselves, make sense of our experiences, and create meaningful change.
My approach emphasizes the balance of acceptance and change, recognizing that we can honor where we are while working toward where we want to be. Grounded primarily in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I incorporate mindfulness, values exploration, and practical skills to help clients navigate emotions, strengthen relationships, and build greater self-awareness. I am particularly interested in exploring how our relationships, life experiences, and cultural identities shape the ways we see ourselves and move through the world. My goal is to create a collaborative and compassionate space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported in building a life that feels meaningful and authentic to them.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
