Qualifications and Experience:
Treatment Philosophy: I love working through a responsive, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive lens with Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIIA+, and neurodiverse individuals in cultivating and sustaining a life worth living. As a queer child of Jamaican immigrants, I have a particular interest in understanding mental health at the intersections of cultures and identities. I intend to hold a safe and affirming space for all parts of you, as you navigate life’s varying circumstances. Together, we will celebrate your joys, and instill healthy coping mechanisms to better process what is difficult. No matter how far you stray, it is my goal to help you reorient to what’s important in your life, and encourage your personal agency to choose. You may not know where to start, AND we can figure that out together too! I’m excited to help you grow in self compassion, build mastery, and ultimately get back up when life knocks you down. |
